Out of the Blues

…can mean a lot of things.

It’s finding joy when life feels a little blue. It’s figuring out what comes after 22 years of military service. It’s following an idea that hits you out of the blue. And it’s learning to slow down, live in the moment, and see where the road takes you.

We’re a family of four — plus Beau, our Wirehaired Pointing Griffon — traveling the country in our RV and searching for the place we might someday call home.

After Patrick’s 22 years in the Air Force, we decided not to rush into the next chapter. Instead, we’re taking the long way around: exploring new places, making memories with our kids, learning as we go, and enjoying the journey while we figure out where we want to put down roots.

Come along for the campsites, the unexpected detours, the family adventures, the lessons learned, and all the moments that happen out of the blue.
